I was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I then went on to attend Michigan State University for a science teaching degree. I worked for a few years after obtaining my degree as a dental assistant and decide to use my science background and my assisting experience and transform that into a career in Dental Hygiene. I graduated from Lansing Community College with my Dental Hygiene degree.
Soon after I graduated, I moved to Hastings with my husband Jim. We have three children and now four grand-children. I work part-time here at Gole Dental Group and spend my other days mostly with my children and grand-children.
I have used my dental background to go on a missions trip to Honduras. I have attended many and varied continuing education classes. The most interesting ones have included those on forensic dentistry, maintaining implants and local anesthesia.
